Both Corian® and Zodiaq® are non-porous and do not promote the growth of mold and mildew when properly cleaned. There are no grout lines to catch dirt and bacteria. They are also NSF/ANSI 51 Certified for food contact. And they also meet the certification standards of GREENGUARD For Children & Schools(SM).
Low-VOC emission standards
DuPont™ Corian® and Zodiaq® meet or exceed emissions guidelines for volatile organic compounds (VOCs), hazardous air pollutants (HAPs) and are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified®. And DuPont™ Corian® and Zodiaq® are nontoxic and nonallergenic to humans. Both surfaces are third-party certified to be free of heavy metals and comply with the EU Directive 2002/95EC on the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS).
